It is emphasized during the conference that once the layout of petrochemical industry is determined, it must be followed strictly. To raise product quality and improve performance, we should pay our attention on tapping potentials and transformation of enterprises. Before starting any new project, environment impact assessment, scientific appraisal and site selection must be done seriously. Strengthen supervisory of security and environmental protection, clearly define enperprise’s responsibility in environmental protection and timely take investigation on potential disasters.

Once incident of violation of environmental protection law does occur, the person responsible for the incident must be punished severely. Disclosure of enterprise environmental information must be strictly followed, so as to make petrochemical industry develop without damaging environment.
